|DREAMS & DESIRES -
TAKING IT HIGHER CONFERENCE (S) 2010
ICCC and COJI, sponsor DREAMS & DESIRES, a conference series that was first
introduced in the United States of America by Bishops' Charles and Tina Battle in 1998. The D & D
Conference (Crusade) was their brainstorm idea of bridging th religious worlds and the business worlds
Prior to its inception, The Battle's realized there was a strong need for information to flow through the four
walls of the "church" that truly empower people to succeed in life without prejudice or misconceived ideas. As
entrepreneurs the Battle's took their corporate training of many years, and incorporated it into practical
teaching that would enable many to reach their optimum potential. Known for their diligence, and Faith in
God, the Battle's have gained the respect and reputation as being specialists in helping people of all walks of
life, reach abundant success.
Over 12 years ago The Battle's formed City of Joy and City of Joy Community Programs International, Inc.
(COJI). COJI has operable programs from youth to senior incentives, feeding and clothing programs,
medical assessment, self=esteem, informational, business training, wealth building, prison rehabilitation,
motivational teachings, real estate concepts, after school programs and much more.
These non-profit entities are community driven organizations committed to empowering people across
everyday issues in life. More importantly their selfless humanitarian outreach has taught many to duplicated
the efforts in order to reach thousands of people in need throughout the United States and abroad. Now the
force of love, dedication and obedience has moved the Battles forward globally with outreach programs that
touch the lives in West and East Africa, India, Italy, Bulgaria, Philippians, Russia, Germany and North Korea.
In the summer of 2007, DREAMS & DESIRES developed a derivative of the series entitle
D & D Touch. This is a mini version of the original series, and is scaled down to hourly sessions that
may be presented into a convenient day or evening session.
